Shawn Korby is Partner and Lead Sales Specialist for the Hartmann Korby Team. His primary focus is consulting with buyers and sellers to ensure that they receive the best results and service possible when purchasing and/or selling their home. Shawn also oversees and coaches the seven member Hartmann Korby Team.
Prior to sales, Shawn was a full time residential real estate appraiser, where he acquired the necessary valuation and pricing skills critical in today's market. He also has background in advertising, which translates into the aggressive and out-of-the-box marketing the Hartmann Korby Team is known for.
Shawn most enjoys making the sometimes overwhelming and scary process of homebuying and selling not only approachable, but fun and enjoyable for his clients.
Shawn is proud to have been recognized as a "Super Real Estate Agent" for two consecutive years in St. Paul/Minneapolis magazine - nominated by those whose opinions matter most to him, his clients.
Shawn has been a resident of Como Park for 14 years, and still resides there with his wife, Katy, and their two children, Libby (6) and Calvin (3). In his free time he likes to squeeze in as much reading, fishing, composing piano and guitar music and playing board games as possible.
Shawn graduated from the University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition.
He is currently working on completing his first CD of original piano solos.
